Mimi by John Newman

Mimi is a 6 year old girl who's mum has died and it has been 151 days she her mum died.She lives with her dad who burns pizzas, her sister called Sally who only wears black and her brother Conor who plays the drums all night.And everyday before she reads Sally's diary she goes to Mrs Lemon's sweet shop and Mimi loves Spiff bars, she pays for the spiff bar and Mrs Lemon gives her some free pick n mix .Then Mimi comes home and starts to read her sister's diary and finds a horrible secret, Sally knows that someone is reading her diary, So every day after school, Mimi starts to read her diary and Sally writes "I know that the nosey parker is reading my diary". And her dad needs to rebuild his life. But I still need to finish the book because I'm only 36 pages in, but so far I like Mimi and I only got it out of our school library
